Proper use of title tag:
Most of the search engines value the title tag content. You need to provide relevant information in your title tag. Unrelated title tag will not do for your site.
Your title tag should be clear i.e. your title tag must be able to specify clearly whatever you want to say your viewer. And there must be your keyword in the title tag. Say for example some wants to visit your page with web design anchor text but if you put designing your page anchor text that will not do.
Meta tags should not contain key word
Years ago search engine used to emphasize on Meta tags and they valued it highly. So people used a trick of using key words in the Meta tags and thus they got rankings. And people used Meta keywords in the irrelevant pages.
Now these tricks do not work. Now the algorithms of the search engines have changed and they now provide less value to the Meta tags. And they emphasize on the content of the pages, relevancy of the content and how informative they are. Make sure your meta keywords reflect the page content properly.
